This project by Cornelius Dämmrich has intrigued me for a while. He doesn’t tell us much about the story involved, but it’s fascinating nonetheless. What appears to be happening is a surreal scene in which a man (or woman) in a flight suit is levatating, presumably away from a phone booth covered in graffiti. Cornelius has gone to unbelievable lengths to include detail on every single visible object in the scene. His lighting is spot-on as well. I love how he moves the camera through this frozen moment in time. Just doing so gives the viewer a better look at the scene, but we’re just left with no extra information. We’re still wondering “What the hell is going on here?”
